LAGRANDE, Ore. --The Eastern Oregon University Athletic Department announced the signing of Carolyn Danek to a Cascade Collegiate Conference letter of intent for women's soccer.
"Carolyn is an outstanding player from Ferris High School in Spokane," Director of Athletics, Rob Cashell said. “I am pleased that she will be attending EOU to further her academic and athletic career."
Danek carries a 3.5 GPA and is the daughter of Ted and Kim Danek. Her father, uncle, and aunt all played soccer at the collegiate level. Carolyn will strive for a Bio-Chemistry degree while at Eastern Oregon.
The 5-1 defender was the captain of her squad this season, was named the team MVP, and was named All-League honorable mention this year.
“I chose EOU because of the atmosphere,” Carolyn Danek said. “Everyone was so welcoming, so nice, and not to mention the school is beautiful.”
