Evergreen's Menefee CCC Player of the Week
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Evergreen’s Nate Menefee, a 5-11 senior guard from Tacoma, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in men's basketball.
Menefee set school and conference single-game scoring marks with his 57-point performance in a 108-97 win over University of Puget Sound.
Menefee, the CCC Player of the Year in 2008-09, sank 19 of 27 field goal attempts and all 16 of his free throw tries in the victory over the 18th-ranked NCAA Division III Loggers. In his other game last week, Menefee had 20 points in a 71-44 win over Lewis & Clark.
