PORTLAND, Ore. -- Corban’s Katie Steigleman, a 5-11 sophomore forward from Eugene, Ore., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball.
 
Steigleman helped lead the Warriors to the Bruce Henderson Memorial Capital City Classic title in Salem, as the second-year player tallied 37 points, 11 rebounds and 10 steals in two games.

Steigleman was 13 of 27 from the field, including 4 of 10 from 3-point range, and 7 of 8 from the free throw line. Steigleman had 18 points and five rebounds in a 76-48 win over Bethany and 19 points, six rebounds, five blocks and five steals in a 69-57 victory over William Jessup. Steigleman was named to the all-tournament team.
