KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech had three players in double figures, led by a game-high 18 points from Joseph Foster, as the Hustlin' Owls dropped Simpson University tonight at Danny Miles Court by the final of 78-57. Tech improves to 2-0 overall and extended their home winning streak to 20-straight. Simpson is 0-1 on the season with the loss. 

Foster was 3-for-6 from the 3-point line and added five assists to go with his 18 points. Myles Daley knocked in 13 points, followed by Andy Siverly with 11. Both Daley and Siverly grabbed a team-high six rebounds, while Justin Parnell added six points, four rebounds and handed out a game-high six assists.

Oregon Tech trailed by five points with 14 minutes remaining in the first half before a Myles Daley jumper with just over 10 minutes to go gave the Owls their first lead of the contest, 13-12. An ensuing Foster 3-point field goal put the Owls up four points, and another Foster trey would give Tech their first 10 point lead of the night, 22-12. Tech would eventually take an 11 point lead to the locker room, 35-24.

A Foster jumper with 14:02 remaining in the game gave the Owls a 19 point lead at 49-30, but the Red Hawks would cut their deficit to 12 points with 7:19 on the clock, 57-45. Simpson would get no closer; however, as Tech would pull away to eventually take a 24 point lead, their largest of the night, before settling for the 78-57 win.

Oregon Tech will play Multnomah Bible on back-to-back dates beginning with the first game this Friday evening at 7:30 pm and a Saturday afternoon game at 2:00 pm.
