CCC Volleyball Tournament Pairings Set
PORTLAND, Ore. – College of Idaho, which shared the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season volleyball championship with Southern Oregon, has earned the No. 1 seed and the right to host next weekend’s CCC Volleyball Tournament. The four-team tournament will begin with semifinal matches on Friday and conclude with the championship match Saturday afternoon.
The tournament winner will earn the CCC’s automatic bid to the NAIA Tournament, which gets underway Nov. 21 with opening-round matches.
The eighth-ranked Yotes, who tied with 12th-ranked Southern Oregon for the CCC’s best regular-season conference record (17-1), secured the No. 1 seed on the league’s fourth tiebreaker (percentage of sets won in all CCC matches). C of I and SOU split their two head-to-head meetings by 3-2 scores and posted identical records vs. the rest of the league. The Yotes were 53-7 in sets vs. CCC opponents, compared to 53-12 for SOU.
Eastern Oregon and Concordia tied for third place with 13-5 CCC marks, but the Mountaineers won the tiebreaker for the No. 3 seed by virtue of winning more sets (5-4) in its two matches with the Cavaliers.

4 p.m. -- #2 seed Southern Oregon vs. #3 seed Eastern Oregon
7 p.m. -- #1 seed College of Idaho vs. #4 seed Concordia
Saturday, Nov. 14
3 p.m. – Semifinal winners
