SPOKANE, Wash. - Nicole Gall scored a school-record 43 points as The College of Idaho rallied from a halftime deficit to run their win streak to three games, notching an 87-61 victory over Whitworth University.

Gall broke the previous mark of 39 points set by Christon Vander Esch last season in an overtime win over Southern Oregon. The junior scored 31 points in a second half spurt that saw the Lady Yotes (6-3) outscore the Pirates 56-29 and convert 58-percent of their field goal attempts.

Whitworth (3-4), an NCAA Division III member of the Northwest Conference, raced out to a 14-4 lead, holding The C of I to 29-percent shooting in the opening half, holding a 32-31 edge at the break. However, the Coyotes opened the second half on a 12-0 run, leading by as many as 32 in the second half.

Gall added ten rebounds for her second double-double of the year, to go along with five assists and five steals. A trio of C of I players added nine points – Katee Brewer, Nicole Bruce, and Brianna Hansen.

The Pirates were led by 12 points from both Liz Horiatis and Leah Pomante, with Kim Bluff adding 11.

The Lady Yotes return to action next Friday night at home, hosting Oregon Tech at 5:30 p.m.
