PORTLAND, Ore. – Eastern Oregon’s Ashlee Michelson, a 5-9 senior forward from Spokane, has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball.
Michelson helped the Mountaineers to home wins over ninth-ranked Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech.
In a 61-57 win over SOU, Michelson had 10 points, eight rebounds two assists and two steals. In a 70-47 win over OIT, she scored 14 points and grabbed three rebounds.
