Menefee Named CCC Player of the Week
PORTLAND, Ore. – Evergreen guard Nathan Menefee, a 5-11 senior from Tacoma, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball.
Menefee averaged 27.5 points, 4.5 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals as the Geoducks posted CCC road victories over Corban and Northwest Christian last week.
Against Corban, Menefee had 25 points, six rebounds and five steals as Evergreen registered a 74-70 win over the Warriors. One night later, vs. NCU, Menefee tallied 30 points – his fifth 30-point outing of the season – as the Geoducks defeated the Beacons 78-69.
