Knights Rip College of Idaho, 93-64
Five Knights scored double figures, led by Reggie Guyton with 20 counters as Warner Pacific routed College of Idaho at C.C. Perry gym tonight.
The visiting Coyotes managed to post a 10-4 lead early in the contest, but WP began to score with efficiency and C of I had trouble finding their shooting range. Guyton capped the first half for the Knights with a 30 foot swish at the buzzer for a 47-29 lead.
The Knights continued to have their way in the second half. The WP lead did not fall below 20 in the period, and the Knights led by as many as 32 points.
In addition to Guyton’s 20, Jake Glisson popped in 19 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. Stephen Harris scored a career high 11 points and grabbed 6 boards in 13 minutes of action.
Noah Gottlieb scored a team high 17 for the ‘Yotes on 8-15 shooting, but C of I managed just 33.8% shooting (23-68) as team on the night.
Warner Pacific improves to 11-3 overall and 3-1 in CCC action. College of Idaho fell to 6-6 and 2-3, and had a 4 game winning streak ended.
