ASHLAND, ORE. -- Southern Oregon senior Jacki Speer set the SOU career record for rebounds, but Warner Pacific came away with an upset victory over the 12th-ranked Raiders 61-60 tonight at McNeal Pavilion.

Warner Pacific improved to 4-5 with the victory and 1-1 in Cascade Conference play. Southern Oregon dropped to 9-1 overall and 1-1 in conference.

Speer broke Julie Finch's career rebounding mark of 1,075, finishing with 13 boards on the night to go along with 15 points. Carly Wood led the Raiders with 16 points and three 3-pointers.

Kristina Schumacher led the Knights with 10 points, but Caitlin Morgan stole the spotlight at the end.

Morgan hit a jumper in the paint with four seconds left to give the Knights the victory.

Warner Pacific jumped out to a 34-30 halftime lead after shooting 51 percent from the field.

In the second half, the Knights took advantage of the free throw line, making 10 of 12.

Southern Oregon shot just 36 percent from the field for the game.
