ESC Women's Soccer to Have Two Great Additions to '09 Roster

OLYMPIA, WA - Women's soccer brings in two excellent players to the program. Emma Loftis and Zoe Ostrander are the last signees to the team as announced by head coach John Purtteman.

Triple threat Emma Loftis has signed for 2009. While playing soccer for Eatonville High School she was voted to the 1st team All Nisqually League. Loftis was her Team Captain and was part of Eatonville's 2005 state champion team.

The three sport athlete competed in Track and Field as a distance runner with personal best of 5:38 in the mile.

In Basketball Loftis was a 3 year varsity player and a leading rebounder for her perennial State Tournament team.

Another muli-sport athlete will grace the turf this fall. Zoe Ostrander of Lakes High School joins the new crop of Evergreen Soccer players.

"Zoe has fantastic pace and will create all sorts of match up problems for opposing defenses" adds Purtteman.

In track and field Ostrander competes in sprints, posting bests of 27.0 and 60.04 in the 200 and 400 meters respectively last season.
