Bikers Have Heart is a fund raising event hosted by D&S Harley-Davidson. The event started in 2001 with a simple poker run to help raise money for a local girl who needed a specialized brain surgery. Since that time, the event has grown to be one of the biggest events in Southern Oregon. All proceeds raised each year go directly to local a local child or children with life threatening illnesses who need financial help to get the medical treatment they need. In the last 8 years the event has raised over $100,000 for these children. Bikers Have Heart starts raising funds in early spring each year and concludes the first Saturday in May with a Yahtzee Run that starts at D&S Harley-Davidson and ends with a street party. This year the 2009 Bikers Have Heart Yahtzee Run will be Saturday, May 2.
