CALDWELL, Idaho - A tenacious College of Idaho defense limited Oregon Tech to just 22-percent shooting from the field, as the Lady Yotes won their Cascade Conference Tournament quarterfinal match-up, 63-41, tonight in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

With the victory, the No. 14 ranked Lady Yotes (28-3) will move into Friday's semifinals, hosting Southern Oregon at 7:30 p.m.

An 11-2 run early in the first half erased an early lead for the Owls (14-16), as the Coyotes pulled out to a 37-17 halftime lead - with the margin never falling below 20 in the second half.

Nicole Gall had a double-double in the win, scoring a game-high 14 points, a season-high 13 rebounds, to go with six assists, three steals, and two blocked shots.  Whitney Owen added ten points, with Christon Vander Esch scoring seven points, but grabbing ten rebounds.

Tech had only one player in double figures - senior forward Amanda Johnston with ten points, as OIT struggled to a 4-for-26 shooting night from the arc.
