SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- College of Idaho's Christon Vander Esch, the CCC's Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year in 2008-09, has been named a second team NAIA Division II All-American, the national office announced.

Three other Cascade Collegiate Conference players also were recognized with All-America citations: Southern Oregon's Jacki Speer, Concordia's Rebecca Gimeno and College of Idaho's Nicole Gall. Speer and Gimeno were third-team selections, and Gall was an honorable mention choice.
