CALDWELL, Idaho - Jody Zillner took a perfect game into the seventh inning in the opener, while the Coyotes took advantage of seven errors in the nightcap, as The College of Idaho swept a doubleheader from Northwest Christian, 3-1 and 10-2, at Symms Field.

Zillner struck out ten, retiring the first 18 batters of the game, and helped her own cause with her second double of the game, knocking in Heather Dixon from first base in the sixth to make it 2-0.  A Haley Butcher RBI single gave the Yotes (22-15, 11-3 CCC)  a three-run lead.

C of I needed it, as the Beacons (12-15, 4-12) plated a run in the seventh and had the tying runs aboard, but Zillner got back-to-back pop ups to close out the game.

Game 2 started with a bang, as Dixon hit her league-leading 13th home run in the first, a mammoth shot to center field.  The Yotes would take advantage of five NCU errors in the second to score seven runs - two scoring on a Butcher double.

It was enough for Brooke Judy, who fanned seven in the five-inning game, to pick up her ninth win of the year.  Butcher went 3-for-3 with two doubles, with Brittany Wenzel and Stacy Smith adding two hits each.

Cotie Howard had a pair of singles for the Beacons, including a two-run single.

The Lady Yotes return to action on Tuesday, traveling to Eastern Oregon.
