KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech head women’s soccer coach Bryan Mueller announced today that both Amanda Snyder (Grants Pass, Ore.) and Matti Karin Lindgren (Williams, Ore.) have signed letters of intent to join the Lady Owl soccer program in 2009.

Snyder spent four seasons in the varsity program at Grants Pass High, earning honorable mention all-conference honors in 2007 and 2008.

“Amanda brings good experience having played club soccer for Grants Pass United for five years” said coach Mueller “Amanda is a versatile holding Mid-Fielder and one of the hardest working players I have encountered. We are very excited that she has chosen Oregon Institute of Technology and would expect her to be competing for playing time immediately”

Amanda is the daughter of Brenda Hassett and will major in Biology at Oregon Tech in the fall.

Lindgren spent four seasons on the varsity soccer squad at Hidden Valley High School that included two Oregon State Championships in both 2006 and 2007. Lindgren was an honorable mention all-conference selection her junior year, while the Mustang Team Captain picked up first team all-conference honors in 2008.

Matti is a terrific Mid-Field player, is a ball winner and has excellent on the ball skill.” said Mueller “Matti will bring experience after playing four seasons of varsity soccer and having played club soccer for F.C Southern Oregon. We are thrilled she has chosen Oregon Institute of Technology and will be a solid addition to the 2009 team.

Matti is the daughter of Mark and Staci Lindgren and will major in Medical Imaging at Oregon Tech in the fall.
