PORTLAND, Ore.—Christian Brothers High School senior Megan Padilla (Vacaville, Calif.) his signed to continue her education and join the Concordia women’s basketball team, Cavalier head coach Aaron Christian announced today.

“We are excited to add Megan to our roster. She will fit in with our team both on and off the court,” Christian said. “Megan’s skills mesh well with our system. She thrives on playing defense, knocks down open shots and can handle the ball against pressure.”

Padilla, a 5-foot-7 guard, was a three-time captain for Christian Brothers High School (Sacramento, Calif.), earning all-league honors her final three seasons. Padilla helped CBHS to the semifinals of the NorCal Playoffs as a senior and to a section championship as a junior. Padilla was also a three-year member of the Falcon golf team.

Concordia finished the season ranked No. 10 in the NAIA Coaches’ Poll. An all-time best representation, the Cavaliers reached as high as No. 8 in the standings during the regular season. The Cavaliers reached the second round of the NAIA National Championships with a win over Iowa Wesleyan in the opening round.
