Oregon Tech Soccer Inks South Medford Keeper
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- Oregon Tech head men’s soccer coach Bryan Mueller announced today the signing of Skyler Holt to play at Oregon Tech this fall.
Holt, a goalkeeper, played 4 years of varsity soccer at South Medford High School. He was a second team all conference selection as South Medford won the Southwestern Conference and made it to the second round of the state tournament. Skyler also played club soccer for FC Southern Oregon, Rogue Valley soccer club, and currently is playing for Fuego, a development regional team in the Rogue Valley.
“Skyler is a very skillful keeper and an excellent shot stopper” said Coach Mueller. “Skyler has great reaction time with very good positioning. He shows no fear in the box, is very confident, and reads the game well. He is a solid addition to our team."
Skyler will major in Health Sciences at Oregon Tech this fall with an interest in the Nuclear Medicine Program. His parents are Sherman E. Holt II and Karen Holt of Medford, Oregon.
