KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head men’s soccer coach Bryan Mueller announced today the signing of Tanner Lee to play at Oregon Tech this fall.

Lee, a goalkeeper, played four years of varsity soccer for King Kekaulike High School, in Hawaii. He was voted rookie of the year in 2005-2006, Maui Interscholastic League (MIL) honorable mention in 2005-2006, MIL second team in 2006-2007, and MIL first team and team captain in 2008-2009. Lee also played for club team Maui Strikers a team which participates in many prestigious tournaments in the states.

“Tanner is an outstanding keeper who is very experienced. He is technically very good and works very hard at being the best in his position. He is an excellent shot stopper and closes the angles down quickly. He is very good on crosses, is always positioned well and controls the penalty box” said Coach Mueller. “Tanner is a great find and will improve our team."

His parents are Lynn Bergau of Haiku, Hawaii, and Jim Paul Lee, of Harrison, Arkansas. Tanner will focus on general studies at Oregon Tech.

Oregon Tech opens up the 2009 season against Simpson University, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Steen Sports Park at 7:00 pm.
