LA GRANDE, Ore. – The second annual “Mountie” awards show is drawing closer and the Eastern Oregon University Sports Information department is releasing this year’s finalists.

The finalists were chosen after Mountaineer athletes, supporters, and fans submitted more than 800 online ballets between Monday, May 11th and Monday May, 18th.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a V.I.P. gala for the presenters and nominees.  The program and award show will begin at 7 p.m. There are a variety of awards along with performances during the award show.

All fans and supporters of Mountaineer athletics are encouraged to attend the evening, but every attendee is asked to dress to impress. This is a formal affair.
