Soccer Adds Walla Walla Midfielder
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore - Oregon Tech head men’s soccer coach Bryan Mueller announced today that William Hernandez of Milton-Freewater, Ore. has signed a letter-of-intent to join the Hustlin’ Owl program this fall.
Hernandez played four years at McLoughlin High School where he helped his team to four-straight state playoff appearances, including a 3A state championship in 2005. The four-time Greater Oregon all-conference selection went on to Walla Walla Community College, where he was instrumental in leading the Warriors to the East Region championship and the NWAACC championship in 2008.
“William comes from very successful high school and community college programs” exclaimed Mueller “William gives us some options and will challenge for starting role straight away. He has skill and is a great passer that defends well and can score goals from distance”.
William is the son of William and Ana Hernandez of Milton-Freewater Ore. and will major in Marketing at Oregon Tech beginning this fall.
