Mens Soccer Signs Transfer
KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech head men’s soccer coach Bryan Mueller announced today the signing of Walla Walla Community College transfer Victor Corona of Milton-Freewater, Ore .
Corona played four years varsity soccer at McLaughlin High School where he earned four all-conference awards and was named the Greater Oregon League Player of the Year both his junior and senior seasons. Corona led the Pioneers to two GOL championships along with the schools first Oregon State championship his senior season. Corona knocked in 115 goals is his four-year high school career. The transfer midfielder from Walla Walla Community College scored six goals to help the Warriors to a 3rd place finish in the in the NWACC Tournament.
“Victor is a very versatile player who can definitely score goals” said coach Mueller. “In his time at Walla Walla, Victor played as a midfielder but was recruited to OIT as a forward whose sole purpose will be to put the ball in the back of the net. Victor is a great competitor who will give us that scoring punch we will need in our second year of competition.”
Victors is the son of Victor and Dora Corona and will major in Business at OIT beginning this fall.
