KLAMATH FALLS, Ore - Oregon Tech head men's basketball coach Dan Miles announced today that former Oregon Tech guard Josh Garrett has signed a professional contract with the Swiss professional Union Neuchatel basketball team for the 2009-10 season.
Ligue Nationale de Basketball is the top professional basketball league in Switzerland. It is divided into two leagues, A and B, with a system of promotion and relegation between them.
The Hustlin' Owl 2007 NAIA All-American helped lead Tech to a "Sweet 16" appearance at the 2007 NAIA national tournament, where he averaged 17.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.8 assists during the season for the Owls. Garrett will leave in the middle of August to begin play.
