ASHLAND, Ore. - Southern Oregon hit .410 as a team and cruised to a 25-14, 25-18, 25-14 sweep of Oregon Tech today in the final match of the Raider Classic. The match was a non-conference tilt.

Fresno Pacific swept Concordia in the other match today and ended the Classic as the lone unbeaten.

Southern Oregon is now 2-1 on the season and travels to Fresno next weekend for the Fresno Pacific tournament.

Junior Leanne Stennett led SOU with 11 kills and junior Chelsea Hartman finished with 10. Freshman setter Caryn Westrick had a match-high 22 assists and Angela Spieker finished with 18. Becky Johnstone had a match-high 17 digs and Stennett added 10 for a double-double.

The Raiders went on a 10-3 run to blow open the first set and set the tone for the match. In the second set, SOU hit .609, with 16 kills and only two errors in 23 attempts.

SOU put the match away in the third set with a 10-1 run that featured three kills by Hartman.
