Seventh-year head coach Norm Berney is bringing in his largest recruiting class ever at Corban with the hopes of making a run at the NAIA Championships in November.
Corban's Berney Announces Recruits for 2009
SALEM, Ore. – Seventh-year head coach Norm Berney has finalized his recruiting class for the upcoming 2009 season and has added 20 runners to a team that returns 14 harriers from last season's teams.
Both cross country teams are coming off '08 seasons in which each team won the Warner Pacific/Cascade Open and the Corban Invitational. At the season-ending Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships, the women's squad finished fourth and the men's team turned in a fifth place showing.

The Warriors will begin the 2009 season hosting the first-ever on-campus meet on Saturday, September 5th, beginning at 10:00 a.m. The women will run a 3K, while the men will tackle a 5K course that circles around the Warriors' SportsPlex in Salem.
