PORTLAND, Ore. -- Nine of the CCC’s 10 cross country programs will converge on Willamette University in Salem Saturday for the 35th annual Charles Bowles Invitational, which is annually one of the largest collegiate meets on the West Coast. College of Idaho will participate in the Montana Invitational in Missoula, Mont.
More than 1,100 student-athletes are expected to compete in the Willamette event.
The Willamette meet will begin in Bush Pasture Park and runners will cross the finish line inside McCulloch Stadium.
In addition to three nationally-ranked CCC programs, the women's field includes Azusa Pacific, the NAIA's top-ranked women's program, while the men's field includes seventh-ranked Embry-Riddle.

• Five CCC programs are ranked among the NAIA’s Top 25 in men’s and women’s polls released Wednesday, Sept. 30. On the men’s side, Southern Oregon remained in the No. 6 position, while College of Idaho moved from receiving votes to the No. 20 spot. Eastern Oregon and Concordia are receiving votes. The women’s side remained exactly the same for the second consecutive week for the four CCC programs listed below, led by sixth-ranked College of Idaho:
