PORTLAND, Ore. -- Oregon Tech’s Justin Parnell, a 6-4 senior guard from Sutherlin, Ore., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in men’s basketball.

Parnell was also honored as CCC Player of the Week in November.

In two big road victories last week, Parnell averaged 24.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and shot 47 percent from the floor as the fifth-ranked Hustlin’ Owls knocked off CCC co-leaders Northwest and Evergreen.

In a 64-57 win over Northwest, Parnell had 21 points and four rebounds. One night later, vs. Evergreen, Parnell poured in 28 points and pulled down five rebounds.
