Clauson Named Player of Week for 2nd Time
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Concordia University’s Danielle Clauson, a 5-10 junior forward from Edmonds, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball.
It is Clauson’s second CCC weekly honor of the season.
In two games last week, Clauson averaged 20 points, 4.5 rebounds, 4.0 assists and 4.0 steals as the Cavaliers defeated Northwest Christian 67-43 and fell to Corban 78-63.
Clauson had 12 points and six assists in the win over NCU, and followed with 28 points vs. Corban, matching her season high. She also had six rebounds and five steals vs. the Warriors.
