Lady Yotes: Among Top Hoop Draws in West
CALDWELL, Idaho -- Attendance numbers for the College of Idaho Lady Yotes rank among the best in the West.
The Yotes' average of 881 fans per game rivals most schools in the Northwest – regardless of their size. C of I sits at No. 1 in the CCC (just ahead of Oregon Tech).
The Lady Yotes would sit No. 4 in attendance in the Big Sky Conference – behind Montana, Montana State, and Weber State, but ahead of Northern Colorado (711), Idaho State (710), Eastern Washington (614), Northern Arizona (387), and Sacramento State; while they would rank No. 6 in the Western Athletic Conference (just behind Boise State’s 1,094) – ahead of Nevada (705), Utah State (568), Idaho (387), and San Jose State (335).
The C of I would be second in the NCAA Division II Great Northwest Athletic Conference (behind Alaska-Anchorage at 1,472). The Yotes rank ahead of GNAC members Montana State-Billings (491), Western Washington (409), and Northwest Nazarene (401), with every other GNAC school below 300 fans a night, while the Yotes would lead the NCAA Division III Northwest Conference, as only George Fox (651) and Puget Sound (360) draw more than 300 fans per game.
