Northwest U. (5-5, 2-4 CCC) edged NCU in the shot category with a 13-12 margin. NCU goalkeeper Nick Kratzke had 6 saves in goal for the Beacons and earned the victory. Joe Galbraith had three save for Northwest. It was a physical contest with 31 total fouls called in the game.
"Disappointing loss," stated NU Head Coach Gary McIntosh. "We had the better chances to score and we failed to get the ball into the back of the net. We need to do a better job at home."
