PORTLAND, Ore. -- In this week’s NAIA natonal rankings, which can be found at www.naia.org, 11 Cascade Collegiate Conference teams are listed in Top 25 polls, with four others receiving votes.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
No. 1 Concordia (13-0-2, 5-0-1 CCC) is top-ranked for the fourth consecutive week and sixth time this season. The Cavs picked up 19 of 20 first-place votes and hold a 22-point lead over No. 2-ranked Lee (Tenn.) University.
Corban (11-3, 3-2) is receiving votes for the fifth consecutive week.
Southern Oregon (10-3-1, 4-1) moved into the “receiving votes” category for the first time this season.
VOLLEYBALL
No. 13 College of Idaho (16-4, 12-1 CCC; winner of 11 straight) moved up one spot in the poll
No. 17 Southern Oregon (15-3, 12-1 CCC) remained in the No. 17 position. SOU has won 12 of its last 13 matches.
MEN’S SOCCER
Concordia is receiving votes for the eighth consecutive poll
CROSS COUNTRY
Four CCC women’s cross country programs are ranked among the NAIA Top 25 again this week, tied for the most of any conference in the country. The CCC is paced by No. 7 College of Idaho, No. 11 Southern Oregon, No. 14 Eastern Oregon, and No. 19 Concordia. Northwest Christian, ranked No. 24 earlier this season, received votes.
Four CCC programs are ranked in this week’s men’s NAIA Top 25, including No. 1-ranked Southern Oregon, which had been ranked No. 1 for three consecutive weeks and been no lower than No. 2 this season. College of Idaho is ranked No. 9, Eastern Oregon is ranked No. 16, and Concordia, which moved back in to the poll at No. 21.
