CALDWELL, Idaho - After a one-year hiatus, College of Idaho basketball games will return to local radio during the 2010-11 season.

In conjunction with 1450 KIOV-AM and Paul’s Market, all C of I men’s basketball games and all Cascade Conference women’s road games will be carried live on the radio in the Treasure Valley and online at http://www.kiovradio.com.

Broadcasts on the Paul’s Market Radio Network, title sponsor for the games, will begin 15 minutes prior to tip-off with the Rod Jensen Show.

Longtime Voice of the Coyotes and Boise Hawks, Mike Safford, returns to the call the play-by-play. C of I basketball was absent from radio during the 2009-10 season – the first time in nearly six decades that Coyote games were not aired locally.

All home C of I games will also have Live Stats available, while the KIOV-AM broadcast will also be simulcast with Live Video, thanks to the CCC’s contract with Penn Atlantic.

Friday night’s season opener vs. Montana Western will be joined in progress following the Parma-Kimberly 3A state playoff football game. Saturday’s game vs. Carroll College will be carried live, beginning at 4:45 p.m. Both games will be radio feeds from KDBM-AM in Dillon, Mont.
