The Geoducks fell to visiting Corban University tonight, begining the second round of Cascade Conference match-ups.
OLYMPIA, Wash. – The visiting Warriors from Corban University defeated the Geoducks Friday night to kickoff the second round of Cascade Collegiate Conference volleyball action. Evergreen State was hampered by errors all match, struggling to generate consistent offensive production. Set scores were 25-18, 25-18, 25-20. Jazzmin Garcia (Sophomore/Kirkland, WA) led the Geoducks offense with 11 kills, as Caitlin Swift (Senior/Seattle, WA) added seven. Chantal Petkus (Junior/Richland, WA) played a solid match defensively contributing 18 digs. The Geoducks return to action on Saturday evening in a rematch with Northwest Christian University, a team they previously beat 3-1 earlier this season. The match is slated to begin at 7:00pm inside the CRC Gymnasium.
