Danielle Clauson of Concordia has received Red Lion Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week.
Clauson Named Red Lion Player of Week Again
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Concordia University’s Danielle Clauson, a 5-10 senior forward from Edmonds, Wash., has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Clauson keyed CU to a 4-0 week by averaging 22.5 points and 8.5 rebounds, including a career-high 33-point effort vs. Pacific. She also had a double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds) vs. Willamette. Clauson also averaged 3.5 steals per game and shot 65 percent from the field. Concordia improved its record to 5-3.
