PORTLAND, Ore. -- Northwest Christian University’s (Ore.) Kellen Spicer, a 6-6 senior forward from Roseburg, Ore., has been named the Red Lion Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

In three games, Spicer averaged 18.7 points and 3.7 rebounds. He shot 68 percent (23 of 34) from the field, including 7 of 11 from 3-point range. Spicer helped the Beacons to their first win over George Fox in eight years, scoring 18 points in 15 minutes.
 
He had 30 points and seven rebounds against NCAA D-II Chico State, earning a spot on the Chico State all-tournament team.
