Tedder Nets 20 Against Gonzaga
Southern Oregon freshman Kyle Tedder went for 20 points as the Raiders dropped a 90-58 exhibition match at NCAA Division I Gonzaga tonight in front of 6,000 fans.
Tedder made four 3-pointers and and went 6-for-15 from the field. He also had two steals and an assist in his 24 minutes of action.
Jordan Highland also chipped in 10 points for the Raiders. Southern Oregon shot 31 percent from the field for the game.
Southern Oregon was out-scored 44-24 in the first half but only 46-34 in the second half. The Raiders had 12 steals and forced 17 Gonzaga turnovers.
The Raiders will open up the regular season Sunday afternoon at home as they host Cal State Maritime at 1 p.m. at McNeal Pavilion.
The Bulldogs, ranked 12th in the Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today Top 25 polls, were led by Steven Gray's 17 points. Robert Sacre had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
