KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech jumped out to a 22-0 lead on their way to a 86-26 thumping of Multnomah University tonight in the 2010-11 season opener at Danny Miles Court. Oregon Tech (1-0), has now run their home win streak to 39 in a row and will look for No. 40 when the Owls host Multnomah University (1-3) tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Four Owls finished in double figures led by 16 from Joseph Foster, while Mihajilo Matic netted 12 and Scotty Riddle and Nathan Maddox added 10 each. Riddle started the year with a double-double after grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds, followed by 10 boards from Kyle Gomez. David Clarke dished out a game-high five assists to go with seven points and five rebounds.

Steven Bustrin led MU with seven points, while Jacob Fischer and Chris Hynes combined for 11 points in the loss.

Oregon Tech shot 43.4% from the floor, including an 11-36 effort from the 3-point line. The Owls grabbed 69 rebounds, 32 of which came from the offensive end, compared to just 22 for the Lions. Tech held MU to just nine first half points and just 9.5% shooting in the opening stanza. The Lions ended the game 17% from the floor.
