ASHLAND, ORE. -- Five players scored in double-digits as the Southern Oregon men scored a 93-69 victory over Cal State Maritime today in McNeal Pavilion.

Southern Oregon is now 1-0 on the season and travels to Lewis-Clark State next weekend.

Joe White led all scorers with 20 points, going 10-for-12 from the free throw line, 4-for-5 from the field and 2-for-2 from the 3-point line. Drew Herrera had 17 points, Kyle Tedder finished with 15 points and Jordan Highland and Kellen Hawley both had 10 points. Hawley had a game-high 11 rebounds and two blocks.

The Raiders made the most of the free throw stripe in the first half, hitting on 20 of 24 free throws as they rolled out to a 46-24 halftime lead.

In the second half, the Raider offense took over as they made 13 of 25 shots for 52 percent and made 4 of 8 3-pointers to cruise to the victory.

Haven Piatt and Daniel Eberhardt each had 11 points Cal State Maritime.
