CALDWELL, Idaho - Three players scored in double-figures and The College of Idaho logged 30 points off turnovers, as the Lady Yotes ended a three-game losing streak with a 75-58 victory over Evergreen State, tonight in the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

After the visiting Geoducks (1-7, 0-2 CCC) took their only lead of the game at 4-3, the Lady Yotes got steal and bucket from Katelin Shannon and a pair of baskets from Nicole Gall, part of a 8-0 run that gave the hosts the lead for good – leading by as many as 18 points in the first half.

Gall led the Lady Yotes (5-5, 1-1) with 22 points, while Shannon added her second-straight 15-point night.  True freshman Diamond Mitchell had a career-high 15 points and six steals in the win.

The Geoducks got 18 points from Latifa Woods, with Evergreen holding a 35-27 edge on the glass and shot 50-percent from the floor – but were marred by 27 turnovers.  Danielle Swain scored 16 points, with Latifa Ward adding 11 points and 12 rebounds in the loss.

The C of I returns to action next weekend, heading to Walla Walla, Wash., for a pair of games – Saturday vs. Walla Walla University and Sunday vs. Whitman College.
