ASHLAND, ORE. -- Southern Oregon's Lindsey Stone and Sarah Holgen have earned 2010 Tachikara-NAIA All-America honors. Stone was named First Team All-American, while Holgen earned Third Team All-American honors.

The duo helped lead the Raiders to a 24-5 overall record, Cascade Conference Regular and Postseason Championships and a berth in the NAIA National Tournament.

For Stone this marks her third All-American honor. Stone was named Second Team All-American as both a sophomore and junior in 2007 and 2008. She also has been named Cascade Conference Player of the Year three times (2010, 2008, 2007).

Stone is the only Raider to earn Conference Player of the Year honors three times during a career and joins Kristina Matchett (2001-03) as the program's only three-time All-Americans. The First Team All-American honor is only matched by Erin Lytle's First Team accolade in 1999.

This past year, Stone ranked second in the Nation in assists (11.56) finished her career with 3,172 assists, which ranks fourth all-time despite only playing three years at SOU. Stone also helped the Raiders rank 12th in the Nation in assists as a team (12.5), 19th in kills (13.4) and 31st in hitting percentage (.246). Stone was named the Cascade Conference Setter of the Week 15 times during her career.

Holgen burst on the scene this year as one of SOU's main offensive threats. The junior led the Cascade Conference in kills by averaging 4.1 per set and also ranked 18th in the NAIA in that category. Holgen also ranked ninth in the conference for hitting percentage (.251).

College of Idaho's Sarah Harris earned Second Team All-American honors.
