For the third time this season, Concordia's Danielle Clauson has been named the Red Lion Player of the Week.
Clauson Earns 3rd Weekly Red Lion Citation
PORTLAND, Ore. -- Concordia University’s Danielle Clauson, a 5-10 senior forward from Edmonds, Wash., has been named the Red Lion Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
Clauson earned the honor for the third time this season.
Clauson led the Cavaliers in scoring in a pair of CCC victories, averaging 22 points per game to boost the Cavs (10-3, 2-0 CCC) to their ninth and 10th consecutive victories. Clauson posted 20 points and eight rebounds in a 66-64 win over Southern Oregon, and 24 points and 13 rebounds in a 76-60 victory over Oregon Tech. She also had seven assists and nine steals in the two victories.
Clauson leads the CCC in scoring (22.5 ppg) and ranks second in rebounding (8.5).
