Corban Pair Pull Down CCC Softball Honors
PORTLAND, Ore. – A pair of Corban College Warriors, Liane DeHart and Makenzie Marchbanks, have earned CCC Softball Player and Pitcher of the Week honors, respectively.
DeHart, a 5-5 freshman shortstop from Kent, Wash., batted .455 in six games at the Simpson Invitational last weekend. Dehart had 10 hits in 22 at-bats, including a pair of doubles in a win over Menlo College, in addition to swiping four bases in as many attempts and scoring six times.
Marchbanks, a 5-6 junior from Sweet Home, Ore., had a 1-2 record at the Simpson Invitational, working 20 innings, striking out 11 and walking six.
