PORTLAND, Ore. – Tana Stickney of Eastern Oregon University, a 5-11 senior forward from Yakima, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball.
It is her first honor this season.
Last week, Stickney averaged 18 points, 4.5 rebounds, and shot better than 65 percent from the field as the Mountaineers won road games at Corban and Northwest Christian. Stickney had 17 points and three rebounds in an 80-71 win over Corban and 19 points and six caroms in a 60-51 victory over Northwest Christian.
