WPC's Schumacher Named CCC Player of Week
PORTLAND, Ore. – Warner Pacific guard Kristina Schumacher, a 5-7 senior from Lake Stevens, Wash., has been named the Cascade Collegiate Conference Player of the Week in women’s basketball.
Schumacher averaged 17.5 points and 5.5 rebounds as the Knights posted home victories over Southern Oregon and Oregon Tech and wrapped up the No. 2 seed in this week’s CCC tournament. Schumacher had 20 points and six rebounds vs. Southern Oregon, 15 points and five rebounds vs. OIT. She shot .625 (15 of 24) from the field.
