The following Cascade Collegiate Conference student-athletes have been recognized as Players of the Week in their respective sports for the period of March 15-21:

BASEBALL
Player – Oregon Tech’s Colin Stock, a 5-11 junior from Klamath Falls, Ore., batted .615, hit a pair of homers and drove in eight runs as the Owls went 3-1 last week. Stock was 8 of 13 at the plate and had at least one RBI in all four games. Honorable mention: Diego Robles, College of Idaho; Jonathan Ramirez, Corban; Sean Myrom, Concordia.

Pitcher – College of Idaho’s Ben Rosen, a 6-4 senior from Eagle River, Alaska, earned the honor for the second consecutive week and third time this season. Rosen tossed a complete-game shutout in the opening game of a series vs. Bethany, striking out eight, walking none and scattering seven hits. He notched his fifth consecutive victory. Honorable mention: Nate Hiebert, Corban; Frank Charlton, Oregon Tech; Jarrod Castrejon, Concordia.


SOFTBALL
Player –Concordia’s Cameron Way, a 5-8 junior from Steilacoom, Wash., highlighted an outstanding week with a two-run walk-off home run vs. Corban in a game in which she drove in all five of CU’s runs. She also hit a three-run homer in the game. Way also belted a two-run HR in a win over Northwest Christian. She batted .500 with nine RBI’s in four games and was errorless in 27 fielding chances. Honorable mention: Nikki Shumway, College of Idaho; Jessica Pierce, Corban; Ashli Hughes, Eastern Oregon; Jess Plummer, Oregon Tech.

Pitcher – Concordia’s Danielle Pulfrey, a 5-7 senior from Hillsboro, Ore., allowed just one earned run in 14 innings of work as she posted victories over Corban and Northwest Christian. Pulfrey notched 13 consecutive scoreless innings, allowing just five hits in 14 innings. She struck out nine in a two-hit performance against Corban and fanned six in a three-hit shutout of NCU. Honorable mention: Jody Zillner, College of Idaho; Makenzie Marchbanks, Corban; Jennifer McDonnell, Eastern Oregon.

MEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Track – Corban’s David Anderson, a junior from Salem, Ore., won the 400 meter hurdles at the Charles Bowles Spring Break Classic and better his CCC Championships qualifying mark in the process, clocking a time of 55.80. Honorable mention: Kody Coxen, Eastern Oregon.

Field – Warner Pacific’s Webster Moreland, a sophomore from Fairfield, Calif., captured three individual titles at the Lewis & Clark Spring Break Open, winning the long jump (22-11 ¼), the triple jump (46-3 ½) and the high jump (6-8). Honorable mention: Bryce Petersen, Corban; Chris Dilley, Eastern Oregon; Eric Whalen, Concordia.

WOMEN’S TRACK & FIELD
Track – Eastern Oregon’s Kimmy Moore, a sophomore from Noxon, Mont., won individual titles in the 100 meter hurdles and the 400 meter hurdles, and also ran a leg on the winning 4x100 relay team which posted the fourth-best mark (49.60) in EOU history. Honorable mention: Bianca Davis, Corban; Eunice Makinde, Concordia.

Field – Concordia’s Gabrielle Dixson, a freshman from Battle Ground, Wash., notched a pair of NAIA automatic qualifying marks with fourth-place finishes in the hammer and the discus at the Oregon Preview. Dixson opened her day with a 161-0 effort in the hammer and added a 138-10 mark in the discus. She also finished fourth in the shot put (44-10 ½). Honorable mention: Jessica Rouse, Corban; Sarah Schelb, Oregon Tech.

GOLF
Men – Corban’s Joey Duwe, a sophomore from Kingston, Wash., captured his second career title by winning the Willamette Invitational. Duwe fired a one-over 73 and won medalist honors on a scorecard playoff. Corban finished second as a team in the tournament. Honorable mention: Will Snow, Concordia.

Women – Concordia’s Lindsay Aho, a senior from Brush Prairie, Wash., won the award for the third time this academic year. In a field which featured four Top 25 teams, Aho captured her third individual title of the year with a three-stroke win at the Lewis-Clark State Invitational. She also helped the Cavaliers to the team title. Honorable mention: Cecilia Garcia, College of Idaho; Hailey Thomas, Corban.
