SALEM, Ore. – Fourth-year head coach Nate Mayben in conjunction with Concordia's coaching staff and Corban's athletic administration has decided to postponed today's NAIA West double header between the Warriors and Cavaliers due to the amount of rain that has hit the Willamette Valley over the past 24 hours.

"There is standing water in the outfield as well as the warning track," commented Mayben. "With a lot of work and money we could get the field playable, but I would rather error on the side of safety for the players than work to get two games in that involve two schools that are separated by just 60 miles."

Tomorrow's double header is still scheduled for a 12:00 p.m. first pitch at Warrior Field. The two head coaches will discuss when today's games will be made up prior to tomorrow's action, as the tentative plan is to play them on separate days during the week with the dates still to be determined.
