KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -- - Oregon Tech Head Women’s Basketball Coach Scott Meredith announced today the signing of Kassi Conditt, a 6-1, post player from La Pine High School.

Coaches voted Conditt the Class 4A player of the year after she averaged 17.4 points, 9.6 rebounds, 3.4 blocks and 3 assists per game in leading La Pine to a 3rd place finish in the State 4A Tournament this year. La Pine won the State 4A Championship in 2009 when Kassi was a junior.

“To say we are excited about Kassi choosing Oregon Tech is a huge understatement,” said Coach Meredith. “Kassi is an impact player whose physical prowess and history of success are well-documented. She was the main focus of every team’s defense this season and nearly averaged a double-double. Kassi is a great passer, a smart defender, and a strong addition to our already stellar front line. In addition, Kassi is a leader and tremendous team oriented player. Her balance of competitiveness and composure makes her a very special player.”

Conditt will also compete in track and field at Oregon Tech. She currently ranks 2nd in the State of Oregon in the Shot Put with a throw of 42’02” and is 5th in the 4A in the discus with a throw of 109’02”.

Kassi is the daughter of Alice and Rusty Zysett of La Pine, Oregon and Chuck and Robin Conditt of Eugene, Oregon. Kassi plans to major in Health Sciences at Oregon Tech this fall.
