WILDER, Idaho - Sweeping the Top-5 positions in the final standings, Concordia University ran away with the women’s team title of the 2010 College of Idaho Invitational at River Bend Golf Course.

The Cavaliers, ranked No. 6 in the NAIA Top-25, closed out the event with a stellar 299 team score – as a trio of players, Madeline Jarrett, Lindsay Aho, and Holly Speer each shot a two-over, 74. Jarrett claimed the medalist honors, with a 54-hole total of 223, seven-over par, four shots ahead of Aho, and seven shots clear of Speer.

Host College of Idaho took second-place, 104-strokes behind Concordia, as the Lady Yotes had three golfers in the Top-10. Cecilia Garcia carded back-to-back 79s to finish with a 241, 18-shots back, while Breanna Pace-Smith took eighth and Heidi Murphy took ninth.

Northwest Christian placed third, 141 shots out of first, thanks to the play of Ashley King, who recorded a final round 78 to tie for sixth. Corban College finished fourth, with Haley Thomas leading the way in 15th. Warner Pacific failed to have a complete team, but one of their two individuals, Rachel Murphy, took tenth.

The teams next compete at the Cascade Conference Championships, presented by Diamond Woods Golf Club, in Monroe, Ore., Monday and Tuesday.
