CCC Championships Slated for Diamond Woods
MONROE, Ore. -- The 2010 Cascade Collegiate Conference Men's and Women's Golf Championships Presented by Diamond Woods get underway here Monday morning.
The 54-hole event will be contested at the par 72 Diamond Woods Golf Course.
Concordia will be looking to capture its third consecutive titles in both genders. Both the Cavalier men's and women's teams have won all four CCC regular season tournaments leading up to this week's conference championships.
Corban's Joey Duwe has the lowest stroke average (73.80) on the men's side, while Concordia's Lindsay Aho (75.90) leads the women's side.
Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
CCC men's teams will be joined by the University of British Columbia and University of Victoria in an NAIA men's national qualifier which will be contested concurrently with the CCC event. The team champion of the NAIA qualifier will earn an automatic bid to the NAIA Championships.
