C of I-NCU Softball Suspended in 5th Inning
CALDWELL, Idaho - The College of Idaho-Northwest Christian University softball doubleheader was suspended due to rain and snow in the Treasure Valley.
It marks the first suspended game or rain out in the nine-year history of playing games at Symms Field, with the two teams resuming play tomorrow at 11 a.m., weather permitting.
NCU held a 2-0 lead heading into the fifth inning, but after two pitches were thrown in the frame, umpires called the teams to the dugouts, and after an hour delay, halted play for the afternoon.
